Where is Kočje? |   |
Kocje
can be reached by turning right just 40 metres away from the traffic
sign "rnovo". There is a diverging road leading up a small
hill and to the locality called Brdo. It is an 800 m. long asphalted
road ending in a blind alley.
This is where you park your car. Turn right and after 20 m. ahead turn
left and take a walk on 600 m. long macadam road.
You reach a singular accumulation of great rocks uncommon to the island
scenery but placed in an impressive harmony with the vegetation ( pine,
holly oak, olive- tree ...) growing in and out the rocky area.
There
is a narrow path leading to the inside of the accumulation, provided
with marks indicating the safe direction back and forth.
